About Metaverse School & College
A school built by educators, for students who learn from anywhere.
Our ethos, our leadership and the standards we hold ourselves to.
Our ethos
Real school. Delivered online, not diluted by it.
Metaverse School & College exists for one reason: to give students studying IGCSE, IB and International A-Levels a genuine school experience, wherever in the world they live. That means live teaching, not a library of videos. It means small classes where a teacher can tell you exactly where a student is struggling. And it means the same duty of care, safeguarding rigour and pastoral structure that any good school in England is expected to provide — adapted thoughtfully for an online setting, never relaxed because of it.
We serve students who need flexibility — families relocating internationally, students balancing academics with elite sport or the arts, homeschoolers wanting structured subject teaching, and anyone who learns better in a smaller, calmer classroom than a large school can offer — without ever compromising on academic rigour or safeguarding.
What we stand for
Academic rigour
High expectations, expert subject teaching and honest, regular feedback on progress.
Genuine pastoral care
Every student has a form tutor and a mentor who knows them — not just an account manager.
Character & conduct
Respect, honesty and responsibility, modelled and expected in every lesson and every interaction.
Safeguarding first
Every decision about our platform, our staffing and our timetable starts from student welfare.
Leadership
The people responsible for what happens in every lesson.
Mr Shah Sher Ali
Chief Executive Officer
Shah leads the strategic direction of Metaverse School & College — setting the standard the school is held to, overseeing governance, and making sure every part of the organisation, from admissions to safeguarding, is run to the standard families should expect of a British school.
Mr Arafat Hingora
Executive Headteacher
Arafat is responsible for the academic and pastoral standards of the school day-to-day — curriculum quality, teaching standards, safeguarding practice and the character and conduct expected of every student and member of staff.
Heads of Department
Subject specialists overseeing curriculum quality, marking standards and teacher development in their subject.
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Trained in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, with responsibility for all safeguarding concerns and referrals.
Inclusion & Wellbeing Lead
Coordinates support for students with additional learning needs and oversees pastoral and wellbeing provision.
Our teachers
Qualified teachers. Thoroughly vetted. Genuinely accountable.
Every teacher at Metaverse School & College holds recognised teaching qualifications for the subject and curriculum they teach, and is appointed through a full safer-recruitment process before they are ever put in front of a class.
